Dan Baker is the Product Head for Payment Rails and Value Added Services for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) within the Payments & Commerce business at J.P. Morgan. The Payments & Commerce business combines Global Payments and Merchant Acquiring to provide integrated solutions to clients around the globe.
Dan has over 20 years’ experience within the Payments business covering both operational and product domains. Dan is currently leading a team of Payments Product managers responsible for payment rails in over 120 currencies, across 13 countries including direct connectivity to major financial market infrastructures; Euro1/Target2, STEP2/RT1, CHAPS, Pay U.K, CLS and domestic clearings across the region. His team is also responsible for value added services which includes Open Banking Pay by Bank capabilities.
Dan is an active industry participant, representing J.P. Morgan as part of the European Payments Counsel’s General Assembly.
