Bankable teams up with Visa for worldwide expansion

Bankable, which is an API (Application Programming Interface) based payments solution firm, has partnered with Visa in the United States. The company aims to provide Visa’s Corporate and Financial institution U.S clients access to real-time banking solutions and faster payments. Bankable will also launch the New York office besides London, Brussels and Dubai to accommodate US clients.

The US office will become a hub for operations in the US region where the company plans to accelerate strategic initiatives across corporations, banks and fintechs headquartered in the US.

“Our strategic partnership with Visa represents a great opportunity to further accelerate digital payments innovation in the region. Our commercial team will initially focus on B2B payments,” said CEO at Bankable Eric Mouilleron.

“The financial ecosystem is evolving at a rapid pace, and Bankable’s model helps financial institutions, corporates and Fintech be increasingly nimble to remain competitive. Building on what we’ve done with Bankable in other regions, including CEMEA and Europe, we’re excited to now extend the partnership into the U.S.” said Visa SVP and Global Head of FinTech Terry Angelos.
