Basware and Comdata expand their partnership to automate business payments
With payments automation growing worldwide, fintechs are looking to exploit the advantages extending from low-cost invoicing, accuracy transparency in data and payments.
This week, Finland based spend management software company, Basware has announced that it has expanded its partnership with US payments company, Comdata which is a Fleetcor subsidiary. The press release notes this partnership continues to show ‘success in driving joint value for clients looking to automate their payments’.
The press release said that the combination of technical and product integrations with sales and customer teams will help customers further automate their accounts payable (AP) processes.
Earlier this year, Brex partnered with SAP Concur to automate payments.
VP of Global Product & Partner Marketing, Matt Hanks said that the Comdata payments technology combined with AP automation solutions will “allow enterprise customers to simplify their AP operations, reduce risk and with more complete and accessible data providing increased visibility, spend smarter.”
As a part of the press note, companies also announced that Nvoicepay, which is also a Fleetcor company and also a Basware partner would be merged with Comdata Corporate Payments and would be unified and relaunched as Corpay.
Basware is a procure-to-pay and e-invoicing solution provider platform which lets businesses fully manage their spending, mitigate financial risk and reduce the cost of operations via automation. Based in Tennessee, Comdata is a payment technology provider in AP automation, travel expense management, global payments. It claims to be the one of the largest commercial Mastercard provider in the United States and Canada.
