Currencycloud continues its trail of partnerships in fintech space

In its latest move, UK-based cross-border payments company Currencycloud has partnered with VoPay to provide real-time cross-border payments. In this partnership, Currencycloud will embed its payments API (Application Programming Interface) within VoPay’s payments-as-a-service platform.

Last week, Currencycloud announced a partnership with the US-based online bank Radius Bank and another separate partnership with UK-based payments service provider, Contis.

According to the press release, this partnership between Currencycloud and VoPay will help businesses to move their payments more quickly, which will overcome issues related to traditional wire transfers.

“VoPay has been a company we have wanted to work with for some time. The issues for Canadian businesses and consumers with cross-border payments have been well documented and we are looking forward to changing this landscape with VoPay,” Richard Arundel, Co-founder of Currencycloud, said in the press note.

In the last quarter, the company has partnered with Sokin, TranSwap and Apply Financial for cross border and B2B payments.
