Everlink and APS Payments in workflow automation partnerships
Just providing clients with a payments solution is no longer enough to compete in commercial payments. This year’s twist: integrating with workflow automation as a strategy to build a wider customer base. With that, payments solution companies have an opportunity to help businesses to adopt these solutions in the fast-growing digitization era.
This week saw two examples – Everlink Payments Services Inc partnered with Canada’s Fintainium, while APS Payments Solutions integrated with Sage X3.
In the former, US-based payments solution company Everlink Payments Services Inc has partnered with workflow solutions company Fintainium Inc. to announce that Fintainium’s AP and AR management platform will be integrated with Everlink’s eHUB Digital Payments Platform to provide B2B and B2C real-time payment services which will be backed by the ISO20022 standard.
According to the press release, this solution will provide businesses with the ability to send or request individual or bulk real-time payments without having to incur the high capital cost.
“This strategic alliance will ensure our clients are at the forefront of the digital transformation wave, accelerated by the explosive growth of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs),” says Bryan Beattie, VP, Business Operations.
While Fintainium CEO Richard Jackman said the partnership provides an “offering which will enhance automated efficiency and cost savings for our mutual banking, credit union and SME customers”.
Fintainium is a workflow automation company that works in cash management, working capital management and forecasting software while Everlink Payment Services is a payments solution company that provides in an integrated payments solution and services to credit unions, banks, SMEs across Canada.
In other payment integration news, APS Payments which is part of Repay Financial Holdings, an Atlanta-based B2B payments processing company, has integrated its technology integration with an ERP solution, Sage X3.
With this integration, customers can access APS ClickToPay and APSPays Vault within the financial management module of the Sage X3 suite. According to the press release, this will enable customers to “quickly, securely, and affordably accept credit card or ACH payments of invoices with Level 3 transaction processing”.
In May this year, Repay had integrated APS Payments with Sage 500, adding to existing integrations with Sage 300 and Sage 100.
Sage X3 is designed for medium-sized businesses and through integration with APS Payments, it would allow daily automatic batch reporting, multi-currency capabilities, no installation, maintenance or setup fees.
“By integrating our payments toolset within Sage X3, businesses can reduce the complexity of processing invoice payments, mitigate risk and ultimately get paid faster,” said Phillip Heath, head of Sales at APS Payments.
Last week, PCMI partnered with Infintech to launch automated B2B payments, while earlier this year Volopay partnered with Wallex to launch integrated platform for SMEs in Singapore and separately partnered with Nium to launch expense management solution using Nium’s API solutions.
