MatchMove launches cross-border B2B remittance service

Singapore based fintech company MatchMove has launched a B2B cross-border remittance platform, RemitSend. MatchMove joins the list of companies which have launched cross-border payments services in Asian markets in recent months such as EMQ, Mastercard with Bank of Shanghai and TranSwap with Currencycloud.

The company claims the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based subscription pricing model will help SMEs in Singapore to save up to 80% in costs when compared to charges levied by most banks.

According to the press release, RemitSend fees start from $8.90 per remittance with no hidden charges or volume pricing. The price is fixed regardless of the amount being sent.

The company has already started piloting the RemitSend service among its clients, and says this technology and infrastructure can be extended to other businesses. MatchMove is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
