Sokin partners with Currencycloud for money transfer service

London based fintech company, Sokin has partnered with Currencycloud to integrate its local payments network onto its money transfer service in 150 countries and 35 currencies. Sokin will use this for offering transfer service all across the globe and currencies without any extra cost and users have an option for unlimited transfers for $2.99 per month, the press release noted.

Sokin has a global B2B payments network which is available through the app or online-based platform at no extra cost and for a fixed monthly fee.

“We have developed our payments network across core market areas, and by working with Currencycloud, we can quickly bring all the benefits of our subscription model to a greater number of markets and clients,” said Vroon Modgill, CEO at Sokin. “Currencycloud provides easy to integrate cloud-based services, which can seamlessly support our operations in all the markets we want to offer a service.”

This year alone, Currencycloud has partnered with Mambu, TranSwap and Apply Financial for B2B payments integration. The company also raised $80 million in series E funding led by Visa and BNP Paribas.
