Treezor joins Mastercard’s Fintech Express programme

Paris-based B2B payments company, Treezor has partnered with Mastercard to become a partner of its Fintech Express programme. Under this partnership, Treezor aims to accelerate the launch and development of European fintechs by facilitating their integration with players in the payments world, the press release stated.

Treezor is owned by Société Générale group and is a Mastercard principal member and also an Electronic Money Institution which is approved by the French regulator ACPR. Mastercard launched Fintech Express in Europe back in June 2020, with Railsbank as an early adopter.

Speaking about the partnership, Eric Lassus, co-founder and CEO of Treezor, commented, “This will make the integration of fintechs with Treezor’s technology even faster, allowing them to cover the entire payment chain while giving them access to Mastercard’s innovations”.

Treezor plans to expand its pan-European strategy beyond France, into new markets such as Benelux, Italy, Spain, and Germany. As a Mastercard principal member, and connected with a variety of Mastercard solutions, the company says it can provide access to fintechs, start-ups, and corporates to Mastercard technology.
