The only event focused on commercial payments for US middle market
After 3 years, the CPI team were excited to announce that the annual Middle Market Summit will be held live in Chicago! The Summit welcomed over 130 attendees who reconnected with peers, meet newcomers, and got a comprehensive overview of the current state of the US middle market’s acceleration of digital through the payments value chain and the verticals they serve, and predict the outcomes for the market into 2023 and beyond.
Digital payments are accelerating in mid-market transactions. SMB companies across the US are going big on digital, from real-time services, virtual cards and mobile payments to cryptocurrencies and digital dollars. The growth of digital payments, accelerated by the pandemic, has propelled expansion and investment in a fintech industry that is taking a share of transaction revenues and disrupting bank commercial card models. Yet the market is not without headwinds, not least in transitioning legacy paper invoice and check systems, or secure alternatives to batch ACH and SWIFT, that still dominate B2B payments. With the changing competitive dynamics in commercial cards, keeping up to date with the digital payments ecosystems is essential.
