Crédito Agrícola partners with Ebury

Crédito Agrícola, a Portuguese bank, has partnered with London based FX trading startup Ebury. This partnership will allow Crédito Agrícola’s corporate clients to carry out foreign currency exchange transactions and cross border transactions entirely online.

According to a press release, corporate clients of Crédito Agrícola who access Ebury’s services will be able to trade in more than 130 currencies at competitive prices.

“This partnership is in line with CA Group’s innovation strategy, offering its customers a service that helps international business mitigate risks arising from it”, said President of the Credito Agricola Group Licínio Pina.

“It is the first time that a Portuguese Bank has partnered with a fintech to provide this service to companies, streamlining their international transactions and allowing them to consolidate their internationalisation”, said Country Manager for Ebury Portugal Duarte Líbano Monteiro.

The offering would be particularly relevant to corporates having operations related to import and export of goods, the press release said.
