Fiskl and GoCardless partner on direct debit payments

London-based payment management platform company, Fiskl has partnered with another London-based bank-to-bank payments company, GoCardless to launch recurring direct debit for Fiskl customers.

Under this partnership, it would aim towards delivering to small businesses with reliable payment methods for automated invoices. “GoCardless will significantly reduce failed transactions as it eliminates common pitfalls associated with card payments, such as card changes or expiry issues, by leveraging the bank transfer system”, the release stated.

For international payments, clients would benefit from exchange rates that are supported by the GoCardless-Wise partnership.

Fiskl’s CEO and Co-founder Alina Lapusneanu in the press note said that its platform is looking for solutions that would add ‘speed, automation or savings’ for its clients while also emphasising critical things such as ‘timely payments, underpinned by favourable charge fees as well as exchange fees’.

Fiskl is a financial management platform for small businesses which focuses on things from invoicing and payments to accounting while GoCardless is an account-to-account payments platform serving more than 60,000 businesses worldwide across 30 nations and processes $20 billion payments annually.
