GoCardless and BillingPlatform forge partnership for quote-to-cash process

The paradigm shift of businesses moving towards digital payments platforms is driving commercial payments firms to change their business strategy and align with expense management in order to provide a user-friendly and integrated service.

In such, the London-based bank-to-bank payments company, GoCardless has partnered with Denver-based billing software solutions company, BillingPlatform. Under this partnership, the two companies will combine Payment Gateway Framework technology and enhanced ACH debit capabilities which will help streamline the quote to cash process for businesses.

Last week, Bank of America had launched the AP automation platform and Plastiq & Billfire partnered to assist suppliers and distributors.

“By combining the most flexible billing solution on the market with a low-cost payment method that increases cash flow and decreases churn, BillingPlatform and GoCardless offer a solution which enables recurring revenue businesses to turn their billing and payment strategy into a competitive advantage”, the announcement noted.

GoCardless is a bank to bank payments solution company while BillingPlatform is a billing solution provider having its presence in multiple industries including communications, transportation, manufacturing, banking, technology, and energy.

The press release highlighted that businesses accepting electronic payments need a payment gateway to facilitate the process which BillingPlatform’s API-based integration framework, Payment Gateway Framework solves it by providing clients to connect and maintain their application within BillingPlatform.
