Finix Payments, a B2B payments platform provider, has secured US$17.5m in Series A funding towards growing its payments infrastructure and expanding its worldwide footprint. Matt Harris from Bain Capital Ventures, which led the round, will be joining the Finix board of directors.

Visa, Insight Partners, and Aspect Ventures have also joined the company as investors. Earlier investors in the venture include Homebrew, Precursor Ventures, Act One Ventures, Class 5 Global, Village Capital, and Argo Ventures.

Finix lets companies become their own payment facilitator without having to build a proprietary payments system in-house. Teams can configure the payments stack suitable for their specific business and to run the entire payments experience through a single platform.
