Visa, Nium and Fuiou Pay collaborate on the global business payment solution

Fuiou Payment has launched a B2B global payment solution in Hong Kong with card giant Visa and the cross-border payments platform, Nium. This comes after Fuiou and Visa started collaborating on B2B payments in Greater China, as stated in the press note.

“The ability to make and receive simple, fast and secure digital payments, and integrating that to overall business operation, is crucial”, said Maaike Steinebach, General Manager Visa, Hong Kong and Macau.

In the announcement, it was noted that ‘Fuiou, Visa and Nium share a common goal in bringing better commercial payment experiences to enterprises in Greater China’ and the partnership between the three will be leveraging Visa’s commercial payments solution and global payment network, Nium’s card issuance support and Fuiou’s technical service capabilities.

Under this partnership with Visa and Nium, Fuiou will create ‘global payment products and solutions for cross-border e-commerce, advertising, overseas education and cross-border travel’.

In related news, Airwallex and Visa partnered to launch B2B payments cards in the Asian region.

The collaboration will offer a range of payment services such as card customisation in which users will have an option to tailor its ‘payment scenarios, regions, the period of time for actual usage’, multi-format support which will make cards compatible with all different operations platforms for both B2B and B2C users and it will have service support which the press note says will ‘exclusive communication channels are provided to different customers to ensure their payment issues are addressed in a timely manner’.

“Cross-border payment and FinTech exports have undoubtedly enlarged the reach of our services. We wish to proceed with innovation and cooperation with Visa and Nium in more dimensions and in more countries and regions in the days to come”, said Yiqun Zhang, President at Fuiou Payment.
