Liquid Group launches real-time payments for corporates

The new epicentre of commercial payments war is in cross-border payments where each payments company is laying down its plan and putting up the necessary infrastructure to support the growing demand in this sector.

This week, Singapore based payments company, Liquid Group has announced the launch of B2B and B2C payments solutions through its Corporate Payment Portal for real-time collection and payment of invoices and payroll payouts for businesses.

Using its direct connection to FAST and PayNow, the company is expanding its service which will include B2B and B2C payments for corporates, marketplaces as well as trade and logistics platforms.

In a press note, the company said that its Corporate Payment Portal would provide businesses with “faster and economic domestic and cross-border payments and will help businesses digitalize and automate their corporate payment processes through one simple and powerful platform”.

Last week, Visa, Nium and Fuiou Pay collaborated on the global business payment solution while prior to that Thunes partnered with Siam Commercial Bank for cross-border payments in the South East Asia region.

The platform supports multiple payments mode which includes corporate QR payments, direct debit, and bank transfers. The company also has a set of APIs supporting integration with partner systems and the Payment Portal also enables real-time payroll payouts in Singapore and selected overseas markets.

Liquid Group is a Singapore headquartered company which provides domestic and cross-border corporate payment solutions for companies across B2B and B2C segments. The company is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore to conduct account issuance services, e-money issuance services, merchant acquisition services, domestic money transfer services, and cross-border money transfer services.
